- Alexander Associates are recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK based Engineering Consultancy.
They are actively seeking a highly motivated Chartered Senior Engineers, ideally with 5 years post graduate experience, to support the continuing growth of the company.
You should have experience of heavy civil structures/infrastructure design (ideally with experience of maritime structures).
You will be a key member of a close team, so clear communication skills are key. You will be responsible for delivery of reports and designs while also managing project teams and interfacing directly with clients.
Ideally you will have experience in assisting more junior members of the team to develop their design skills and be involved in mentoring to help with staff development.
The diversity and range of their projects requires a flexible and adaptable character, for this you will be rewarded with challenging and interesting project experience.
Required attributes:
- Chartered Engineer with a high quality Masters in Civil Engineering or related subject
- Strong experience in structural / infrastructure design ideally with maritime experience
- Proven track record of managing projects, interface with and managing clients, managing junior staff
- Lateral thinker with a strong desire to innovate
- Well organised with the ability to multitask
- Highly motivated and organised
