- Description
- We are working with a Kent based consultancy who is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team.
The candidate needs to:- Produce Drainage Strategy Reports
- Produce Flood Risk Assessment
- Produce SuDS Management & Maintenance Plan
- Organise works such as geotechnical site investigation to establish: CBR values, infiltration rates; groundwater depths,
- Undertake Vehicle Tracking Analysis
- Undertake Foul and Surface Water Drainage Design in line with relevant standards and requirements
- Undertake hydraulic design and analysis with Causeway’s Flow V8
- Undertake Highway design (vertical and horizontal alignment)
- Undertake volumetric calculations with 3D models through Causeway’s PDS Ground Modelling software
- Carry out site inspection works needed to produce technical reports
- Liaising with relevant Statutory Authorities for obtaining approvals for the following works:
- S.104 – Sewer Adoption Agreement
- S.106 – Connection to Public Sewer
- S.185 – Diversion of an existing Public Sewer
- S.38 – Road Adoption Agreement
- S.278 – Permission to carry out works within an existing Public Highway
- TTRO – Permission for Temporary Road Closure
SOFTWARE/SKILLS:- Causeway’s PDS (Profesional Bundle)
- Tekla Tedds - Drainage
- Causeway’s Flow
- AutoCAD (2D)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
They’re looking for an engineer with ambition and experience in residential roads and drainage schemes which for the most part are projects where they are also undertaking the structural side.
It’s more or less all related to residential roads and drainage.
