Project Controller

Job title: Project Controller.

6 month contract

Must have worked within the Engineering and Construction sectors – Water Sector experience essential.

Job spec:

• Articulate and reliable project controls professional.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Must have intrinsic working knowledge of project controls software (Primavera P6 or equivalent)
• Partially client facing role – interactions with Client Project Controls and management team will be necessary.
• Will work under instruction from operational/delivery management team.
• Must display strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and written/oral communication skills. They should be detail-oriented who can consistently meet deadlines and possess the ability to work independently as needed. Computer, interpersonal and customer service skills are necessary. Project Controller must be able to multi-task and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse work group.

Responsibilities include: 

Administration of framework project “plan” for managed services framework. 200+ individual small schemes in various stages of Implementation.

Will include (as a minimum) time, cost and resource loading Maintenance of project schedules, including milestone dates for various project stages 

Periodic internal reporting on cost, schedule and resource demands including provision of dashboards and evidence to support KPIs etc. 

Client facing – will liaise with the client project controls team to provide monthly updates on project status (in conjunction with management team).

Liaison with Project Managers and project engineering resource to carry out plan updates and scrutinise accuracy of dataset. As such Data analysis is also key to this role with the ability to understand and process the data key.
