- I am currently working closely with a tier 1 design and build contractor who are looking to recruit an Environmental Advisor.
Due to a large expansion in work load my client is seeking a Permanent member of staff to join them during this exciting period of Amp 7 work.
What will you be doing?- Providing on-site support to the construction team
- Assisting in preparation and review of environmental paperwork
- Working collaboratively across the clients contract to ensure requirements of the Environmental Management System are delivered at appropriate DM stages
- Supporting Partner Organisations in achieving their environmental goals and sustainability objectives
- Providing guidance, support and feedback for internal and external audits and inspections as required
- Developing and delivering training on environmental issues as required
- Providing accurate, timely and value-added performance reporting to contribute to business decision making
What we’re looking at from you- A proven background working with environmental issues such as soil testing, ecology, archaeology etc.
- Good knowledge of the key environmental legislation
- Experience with environmental regulations
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and individually
