- Our client provides professional construction services and advice, delivering quality projects and end products to clients undertaking construction or refurbishment works. On behalf of our clients, we take responsibility for the design, procurement, management and delivery of works required for their business need.
In line with our anticipated growth plans,the company have a requirement for a Client Side Project Manager/Employers Agent working in our office in Kent. The candidate will lead and work within a team that ensures the project is built in line with the agreed design and that the design information is produced to the correct level of detail and in accordance with predetermined deadlines and budgets.
The role requires a self-starter and ambitious person to take on the position with a desire to progress your career, to increase our capability and deliver further success for the business. We are seeking a driven individual who is hardworking and goal driven. The candidate should have excellent communication, organisational, planning and time management skills and be able to manage projects without compromising on standards or quality.
Working with our Project Director this full time role will be responsible for the successful completion of projects to timescales, safety and budget constraints:
Ensuring the correct paperwork, procedures and management tools are created, implemented and reviewed on all projects you are responsible for. This will include but not limited to:- - Setting the project strategy
- - Developing and monitoring Short term and overall Construction Programmes
- - Project risk registers
- - Cashflow and project budgets
- - Contract Administration
- - Minutes of meetings
- - Project reports and procedures relating to the effective execution of a construction project, from concept to completion.
- - Have a good background in construction project management and/or surveying and understand the EA/CA process.
- - Be organised and diligent
- - Good technical knowledge of construction processes
- - Confidence in their role
- - Be ideally MRICS or MCIOB qualified or working towards the qualification.
- - Have good IT literacy skills
- - Be an effective communicator
- - Loyal and trustworthy.
