- Digital Implementation Manager
Our client, a fully integrated design and build contractor in the UK water industry, is looking for a Digital Implementation Manager to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of several digital platforms, ensuring that they are operational and continue to evolve to support our changing business across a joint venture organisation.
You’ll be expected to research new technologies, assessing how they could assist the business and, where appropriate, conduct proof of concepts/pilots to ensure that they meet our needs before transitioning into BAU when applicable.
Along with the rest of the Digital team, your input will help directly shape the evolving digital strategy ensuring that the organisation achieves its efficiency targets through digital transformations and remains an industry leading collaborative alliance.
Key responsibilities:- Build upon initial academic relationships to structure and implement knowledge transfer partnerships, as well as scope future potential opportunities within the academic space
- Assist with the continuing roll out of BIM360 to the Delivery and construction teams whilst also supporting on exploring the transition from BIM360 to Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and assist with the configuration / testing and training of the platform
- Assess existing, unused functionality of current platforms and where appropriate implement appropriate solutions
- Utilise software supplier roadmaps to support the creation of alliance specific platform roadmaps
- Assess where new platform functionality will assist the alliance in obtaining the required efficiencies
- Working with our implementation specialists you will lead the implementation of new systems and processes ensuring that key stakeholders are engaged and end-users are sufficiently trained and supported
- Scan the digital space for new technologies and working practise that would add value and enhance the digital offering to the alliance
To join us on our quest for digital excellence in an evolving space, you’ll have a proven track record of the support and management of software platforms with exposure to capital delivery processes. It would be advantageous if you had exposure to VR, AR and BIM technologies and processes.
