A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental Planner working in the water industry. There is flexibility for hybrid working and some travel will be required. This is a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental assessments and impact studies for water projects.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution.
- Manage and monitor environmental aspects of projects, including environmental permits and approvals.
- Provide expertise on environmental issues to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and environmental agencies as required.
Requirements:
- Qualification in environmental, town planning, or related discipline.
- Knowledge and experience in environmental management.
- Relevant CSCS Card.
- Strong project management skills from an environmental perspective.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in environmental assessment tools and software.
