- Job Title: Permanent AutoCAD Technician (4/5+ years’ experience).
Start Date: ASAP/Flexible.
Salary: Competitive/DOE
Our client is actively seeking a Permanent AutoCAD Technician to join their growing team.
With the majority of the clients being contractors, you can rest assured that you will be working on a variety of different project- but mostly with a Civils focus.
With projects ranging from £5k to £30k in value (equating to projects worth £100k-£5m on site), you will be kept busy! In the last 5 and a half years they have completed 700 projects.
This role may offer the opportunity to work on some Revit projects in the future.
Essential Requirements:
• Ideally you would have 4 years’ of working AutoCAD knowledge
• Experience working within a small/medium sized company/consultancy
• Experience working on a mix of residential, minor civils, commercial, retail and rail projects.
• Extensive experience in Steelwork detailing, slabs, foundations (all materials eg. Steel, concrete, Masonry, Timber).
Desirables:
• CAD RC detailing.
• Revit skills (3D).
• Experience working on Rail projects is desirable but is not essential.
The ideal candidate will be:- Quick & methodical but with a strong attention to detail – ensuring that work is thoroughly checked before going out which shows awareness of high standards and the implications to us if the Client receives sub-standard/incorrect drawings.
- An excellent communicator
- Able to work under pressure when up against deadlines.
- Professional & friendly, Team Player.
- Very Reliable with excellent time-keeping – they start at 9.00am but we can accommodate earlier starts to suit technicians who like to start early.
- Happy to work in a fast-paced, busy office.
