- Network Assurance Specialist
Our clientbuilds and operates state-of-the-art, community-scale wastewater treatment for residential and mixed-use developments across England and is seeking a Network Assurance Specialist, with extensive experience in construction, waste water or other utility networks, to join their Developer Services team in the South East of England.
Role Objectives:
You will play a significant role in shaping and improving our client’s core processes for adopting and maintaining network assets. The role has scope for growth, and will be both client and contractor facing, interacting with developers, ground works and design teams.
You will play a key role in delivering business growth plans over the coming years by taking ownership of a range of activities within the Developer Services function, from first contact to adoption and operation of assets.
You will takeownership of guidance and standards for network assets – including sewers, SUDS, and pumping stations – to ensure that our requirements are communicated effectively to our clients.
You should be familiar with detailed drainage designs to assess the suitability of client’s submissions. An awareness of hydraulic modelling would be beneficial.
You will also work with the Operations and Asset Management functions to ensure that adopted network assets are managed effectively throughout their entire lifecycle.
Once a development enters the construction phase, you will inspect the assets constructed by clients to ensure that assets offered for adoption are in line with the necessary standards and fit-for-purpose. For developments across Kent, Sussex and Hampshire you will be expected to attend site yourself. For developments further afield you will identify suitably qualified people to carry out inspection duties.
