Our client is looking for a knowledgeable Security Consultant to join a growing team within their multi-disciplinary consultancy. This role includes preparing and coordinating physical security design advice for the development of industry-leading projects across a range of sectors.
The Security Consulting team develops high-quality security designs for multiple international projects including Large Football Stadiums, the Houses of Parliament and several Train Stations.
This role requires experience with operational security. Working within the Security Consulting Group, you will collaborate with other disciplines such as Smart Buildings, Lighting, MEP and Technology.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop security strategies in line with industry requirements.
*Create and manage workflows which includes planning and monitoring resources.
*Research and write protective security intelligence reports and assessments.
*Research and write standards, procedures, policies and work instructions for security operations.
*Assess threats, vulnerability and risks to produce risk registers.
*Staying alert of emerging threats and trends to produce creative solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A qualification in Security Risk Management or related.
* Knowledge of Revit and Bluebeam.
* Experience in application of the principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design.
*Develop security strategies that align with the RIBA stages and Masterplanning process.
*Conduct Security Needs Assessments that are compliant with BREEAM and SBD compliance.
*Development of design tools including Revit.
*Assist in the conduction of Vehicle Dynamic Assessments as part of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation schemes.
