Description

Alexander Associates are working with an award winning Civil Structures consultancy who are currently seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join their team on a long term contract basis. 

Experience required:

  • Hold or be working towards a recognized qualification or accreditation in Information Management.
  • Have experience of delivering BIM Level 2 Projects (delivery within PAS1192 or ISO19650).
  • A Multi-Disciplinary background would be preferred and experience in Infrastructure/Rail would be of benefit.
  • Have familiarity with ProjectWise and or other Common Data Environments.
  • Be able to federate digital information and structured data models; prepare clash detection reports and communicate issues identified.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging software products and tools relevant to your work.
  • Have significant Technical experience within a specific 3D Modelling delivery software; ideally Tekla or Revit as well as possess good AutoCAD skills. Experiencing of delivering projects in 2D & 3D is essential.
  • Have experience or knowledge of at least one other modelling and collaboration tools such as Civil3D, AECOsim (OpenBuildings), MicroStation, NavisWorks, BIM360.
