Alexander Associates are working with an award winning, global engineering consultancy who are seeking an experienced Environmental Coordinator to join their team.
This is a long-term contract role working on a Large infrastructure project in the UK.
Environmental Coordinator responsibilities include:
- Provide environmental Coordination
- Propose environmental improvement opportunities
- Writing of reports that demonstrate environmental compliance.
- Attend design coordination meetings to understand design changes and confirm changes are acceptable and pose no new significant effects.
- Occasionally deliver short environmental presentations.
Required experience/knowledge for the Environmental Coordinator:
- Understanding the Environmental Minimum Requirements.
- Have a BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Understand how to manage health, safety and welfare within own area of responsibility
- Have in-depth knowledge of legislation
- Understand issues around consenting and programme risks/design delivery risks.
