- Description
- We are working with a West Sussex based client who are seeking a Project Manager to join their team.
Candidates will play an integral role in directing a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that each stage of the project is safe, progressing on time, on budget and to the right quality standards.
Our client requires solid experience delivering complex civil engineering schemes either PM in a Water or Waste Water project environment. Along with a HNC degree in civil engineering and a valid CSCS.
Key Responsibilities- Create a ‘Knowingly Safe’ working environment
- Continue to develop the ‘Collaborative Behavioural’ culture and ‘One Team’
- Ensure that our client’s Health, Safety and Sustainability standards are complied with
- Champion the use of innovative technologies and techniques
- Engage with the Commercial Team to manage costs, and maximise cash flow and profitability and ensure any changes are in scope and managed
- Ensure any incidents/accidents are thoroughly investigated, closed and learnings implemented
- Ensure systems are in place to ensure that the quality of work is to the required standards
- Monitor and review individual performances, providing encouragement and discipline as and when required
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and problems that may arise
- Ensure and maintain strict quality control procedures
- Ensure site team keep diaries up to date
- Monitor capability of staff and contractors to undertake current and prospective workloads and report to senior management
